A samurai fighting game in the "Japanese style".

The Revenge of Shinobi, known in its Japanese version as The Super Shinobi, is a samurai fighting arcade game, which seems that a mixture of Prince of Persia (for aesthetics), and Streets of Rage, by the proposed gameplay.

Created by SEGA for the Mega Drive console, The Revenge of Shinobi has been adapted here to play from Windows. The game's story is based on the story of revenge, of a ninja named Joe against members of a gang of murderers called Neo Zeed, who have kidnapped Joe's fiancee.

In The Revenge of Shinobi you grapple with swordsmen based on the techniques of the samurai, in addition to launching murderous Flying Daggers, climbing walls, etc. The best thing about The Revenge of Shinobi is the many scenarios in which each level takes place, in several provinces of Japan with samurai traditions, plus Tokyo, China, USA, etc.
